About Mavara

Māvărā is a fine jewelry collection founded by an Iranian designer whose work is shaped by interior architecture, film, neuroscience, and a lifelong reverence for meaningful objects. In Persian culture, gold is an initiation rather than an accessory. Solid 24k pieces are placed on newborns as protection, blessing, and their first anchor into the world. This tradition shaped the origins of her love for jewelry.

At Mavara, we view jewelry as an inheritance of memory, honoring the ancient belief that precious metals hold energy, permanence, and truth. In a world filled with plating and disposability, the founder began creating her own pieces to return to the integrity she grew up with. Each design is sculptural and handmade sustainably only in solid gold or high-quality silver, made to endure without harming our beautiful planet.

.

"Each Mavara piece is born with the conviction that materials matter because the body responds to them. Conductivity, weight, and texture imprint on the nervous system, while the making of anything physical imprints Earth. We turn metal into a sensory and energetic interface between self and world."

-Shahrzad, Founder of Mavara
